Interstate 65 near Seymour re-open after chemical spill
SEYMOUR, Ind. (AP) -- State police say all lanes of Interstate 65 near Seymour in southern Indiana are now re-open. All lanes were closed after a semi carrying hazardous chemical caught fire around 8 a.m. Monday.
Police say the semi was carrying a highly flammable material called Xylene, and it has to be off-loaded to another truck. The semi caught fire about 8 a.m. Monday as it was traveling northbound. There's no word yet on what caused the fire.
