Gambling addicts volunteer to be barred from casinos

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- More than 1,800 Hoosiers with gambling addictions are asking to be barred from casinos in Indiana. They're among nearly 4,200 people who have asked to participate in the Voluntary Exclusion Program.

The program allows people to be barred from casinos for periods ranging from a year to a lifetime. The requests were sent to the Indiana Gaming Commission.
