BIG Masquerade party to benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters

Posted: Updated:

The BIG Masquerade will be a night of fun and a little bit of mystery. Brown-Forman's Tim Laird will show you how to make the masquerade's official cocktail and Travis Fessler from Pickled Brothers Circus will entertain with some sword swallowing!

Nicole Walton from the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Kentuckiana says the BIG Masquerade is more than just a fundraiser or party. It is set up as an interactive event that will blur the lines between guests, hosts, and performers. As an attendee, you may watch a street magician perform two feet in front of you, you may get your palm read or your future told, you may participate in a juggling act or you might perform yourself by walking on a runway to show off your mask! For the less adventurous attendee, you can listen to live musical entertainment or enjoy a local celebrities' banter…or is it a celebrity impersonator? In a sense, you can expect the event itself to be a performance where you can take on any role you want…be careful however, all the masks come off at midnight!

The Auctions and Raffles:

The BIG Masquerade will feature auctions and raffles with high-end items. Some examples of our auction and raffle items include: A box to Kentucky Derby 138, an in-home, private chef prepared dinner for twelve, and a week-long trip to several exotic locations.
