LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a Louisville man assaulted his 2-year-old daughter.
According to the arrest report, 28-year-old Kelvin J. Young brought the child back to her mother after she spilled ice cream on herself on Oct. 24. Police say Young was angry and walked toward the mother aggressively. At that point, the woman flagged down a passing car, thinking it was a police officer. Young started to walk away but came back after the car drove away.
That's when Young allegedly punched the woman and the child in the face and head. Both the mom and the 2-year-old suffered visible bruising and swelling.
Police think the incident may have been caught on video by a camera at 4th Street Live!
Young was arrested around 1 a.m. on Oct. 26 and charged with two counts of assault.
