LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Volunteers are spending the weekend replacing posters of a missing Indiana University student that had been torn down.
Thousands of posters with Lauren Spierer's picture and information on where she was last seen have been placed throughout Bloomington. Recently, hundreds of the posters have been taken down, and are apparently littering the streets of Bloomington.
Dozens of volunteers have replaced them with new ones. They say this helps keep the focus on finding Lauren.
"We have to keep it in the media. We have to keep people knowing. We got to put pressure on those people that know what happened to Lauren," says event organizer Ellen Carter.
Lauren Spierer has been missing since June. She was last seen walking to her apartment after leaving a sports bar.
