LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a 35-year-old man attacked his own mother over Kool-Aid.
According to an arrest report, Lequan L. Washington became angry after he asked his mom for a glass of Kool-Aid and she told him to get it himself. Police say he responded by punching her in the face, knocking her down, stomping on her and breaking a window.
Washington allegedly claimed that his mother pointed a gun at him, fired and missed, but police say no evidence of this was found.
Washington's mother declined to be treated by EMS.
He was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault.
