LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man is facing misdemeanor charges after he allegedly exposed himself to a complete stranger in a Louisville parking lot.

It happened on Nov. 23. Police say 44-year-old James Wesbecker was walking out of a Dollar Store when he saw a woman who was an employee of a nearby business smoking outside.

Police say Wesbecker got in his car, but kept staring at the woman. His fascination with her made her so uncomfortable that she got into her own car to finish her cigarette.

That's when Wesbecker allegedly drove his car eight-to-10 parking spots over so that he was parked one spot over from the woman. He then rolled down his passenger window and continued to stare at her, according to an arrest warrant.

Police say the woman rolled down her window and asked if she could help him. He allegedly responded that he, "just wanted to say hi."

She told him that if he didn't leave, she was going to call the police. That's when, police say, she realized that he was performing a sex act.

The woman quickly got out of her car and Wesbecker drove away, but not before she was able to get his license plate number. She called police, and officers visited Wesbecker's home.

He allegedly admitted to officers that he had been to her place of employment, but no police report was made.

But police say the story doesn't end there.

On Dec. 13, Wesbecker allegedly came back to the parking lot and parked in front of the store. The woman was there -- and when she looked out the window, she recognized the car and Wesbecker himself. When Wesbecker saw her looking at him, he drove away.

Police were called again, and again, they visited Wesbecker's home. According to an arrest warrant, Wesbecker, "admitted to the above incident and stated he had a problem, and was in counseling."

He was arrested on Friday and charged with indecent exposure and disorderly conduct.
