LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Kentucky State Police and U.S. Marshals tracked down and arrested Abdullah White at the Okolona Econo Lodge on Preston Highway.

Authorities say anonymous tips and a list of people White was known to associate with led them to the hotel. When Marshals say when they confronted the suspect, he tried to escape through a window in his room. White failed to break through the window and quickly surrendered.

Trooper Norman Chaffins says, "It was difficult. We had troopers, detectives interviewing known associates, family members, relatives, witnesses, everybody. Mr. White knew we were getting close."

White is charged with burglary, unlawful taking, and being a fugitive out of Tennessee. He's being held on a $50,000 bond at the Larue County Jail.

Police were looking for him after Kristie Allen was found murdered in a back bedroom of a home in Larue County. She was pet sitting for a friend. The homeowner says there were no signs of a struggle, and that Allen was strangled and wrapped in a blanket.

Chaffins says, "I can tell you it wasn't a gun shot wound, we do know that. But I can't tell you for sure what cause of death is right now, it's not strangulation either. We're not able to report exactly what the cause of death was."

Authorities now say they could seek charges against people responsible for helping White evade police.

19-year-old Samantha Kolley was arrested for stealing Allen's car. She was arraigned Wednesday morning. Her bond was set at $50,000 full cash and she was assigned a public defender. Her next court date is on January 11th.

Belinda Martin was also arrested and charged with having the homeowner's stolen property. Friends say Allen knew the three suspects and were friends with them.
