LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police in Switzerland County, Indiana have arrested a man and charged him with molesting two young girls.
According to a news release from the Indiana State Police in Versailles 52-year-old Daniel Lee Pierce of Vevay was arrested Friday after police received information from Switzerland County Child Protective Services that Pierce was allegedly molesting an 8-year-old girl.
During the investigation, detectives found evidence to support the allegations and also found evidence that another girl, 12, had been molested by Pierce.
He was arrested January 6 and is being held in the Switzerland County Jail on three felony counts of child molesting and two counts of child solicitation.
Police are asking anyone with additional information about these investigations to contact Detective Kip Main at the ISP post in Versailles at 812-689-5000 or 800-566-6704 (in Indiana only). Callers can remain anonymous.
