LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A plan is in the works to build a war memorial to Kentucky soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
A bill has been filed to start the project which would honor the more than 100 soldiers killed in the two countries since the early 1990s.
The bill sponsors say it's time to develop the memorial for those who gave their all now that the military has withdrawn from Iraq and is getting closer to finishing in Afghanistan.
