SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY. (WDRB)--Shepherdsville police hope you can help them catch a couple of men behind a huge heist at a local flea market.  It happened last week.  The men got away with nearly $100,000 worth of valuables and rare coins.

"Individuals went in the flea market and disabled the alarm system," says Sgt. Troy Armstrong, with Shepherdsville Police.

Last Sunday night, the men broke into the Awesome Flea Market off interstate 65 in Shepherdsville.

"And then while in there, they cut the locks off of several of the vendors."  Police say once inside the thieves went right for the money, but not the kind of money you're probably thinking about.

"Mainly targeting the coin dealers, and taking old coins, gold coins, silver coins, silver certificate bills."  Sgt. Armstrong says the men were professionals and seemed to know exactly what they were doing and looking for.

"They passed up a lot of expensive items to get to just the coin booths, I would expect they knew that's what they were going in there for."

The men were captured on surveillance video taken near the food court.

Police say they have alerted local pawnshops and coin dealers to be on the lookout for the stolen money and the suspects.

Meanwhile, the owner is now offering a reward for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.
