LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The Cardinals hosted Syracuse Saturday afternoon -- and both team's colors looked a lot like Valentine's Day.

But Saturday's game was actually in honor of breast cancer survivors.

A group of them stepped onto the court at halftime, bringing their own support team with them.

Carrying a pink paper chain, the women got the crowd on their feet.

One woman tells us that it's moments like these that encourage her to keep fighting.

"I'm a four-year survivor. I have cancer right now. And so anything that pumps me up -- makes me feel good -- it's what I need," says Joyce Harris.

Louisville went on to win the game 89-62.
