LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Police arrest six people at a Lexington, Ky. pain pill clinic. Local police and Drug Enforcement Agents raided the Lexington clinic after complaints from residents and nearby businesses.
After an investigation by state officials over suspected inappropriate prescriptions of controlled substances, the clinic moved to a new address.
Governor Steve Beshear has pledged to crack down on so called "pill mills" which are offices where doctors overly prescribe pain pill medications.
