CECILIA, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 33-year-old Cecilia, Ky., man is facing felony charges after he allegedly picked up two underage girls and took them to his home.

According to a news release from Kentucky State Police in Elizabethtown, troopers received a call that two girls had snuck out of a residence on Hardinsburg Road and were spotted by the mother of one of the children being picked up by John Lashley.

Police say both juveniles were taken to Lashley's home; one eventually returned home, but the other was found in Lashley's residence.

Lashley was arrested and charged with custodial interference, unlawful transaction with a minor and possession of marijuana. He was being held in the Hardin County Detention Center.

The investigation is continuing.
