LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man is facing a serious felony charge after his 9-month-old daughter was admitted to Kosair Children's Hospital with "severe" injuries.
According to an arrest report, 31-year-old Aaron Ardaiz, "inflicted severe bruising" on or around the face and head of his infant daughter.
She was taken to the hospital for "further testing." The seriousness of her injuries is not known.
Police say the infant was in Ardaiz's care at the time the injuries were inflicted.
He was arrested shortly before 4 a.m. Wednesday and charged with first degree criminal abuse.
