LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two motorcyclists were arrested on Tuesday afternoon after police say they were caught weaving in and out of traffic and racing down Shelbyville Road.

It happened shortly after 4 p.m. Police say 21-year-old Melvin Eliseo H. Perez and 27-year-old Edy Noe Orrego were, "cutting off other drivers on the roadway without any regard to other vehicles" and "going way too fast for conditions on the roadway."

Police say they determined Orrego was going 70 mph in a 45 mph zone.

The two were racing each other, according to the arrest report, and neither had a license.

They were both charged with speeding 25 miles over the speed limit, reckless driving, racing a motor vehicle on a public highway and driving without an operator's license.
