POLICE: PRP High School student arrested at school

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say a student at PRP High School was arrested Tuesday morning after causing a disturbance and arguing with a staff member.

According to an arrest report, 18-year-old Lance Ellington, "failed to follow a staff member's orders and became disorderly in class." Police say he, "caused annoyance and alarm," both in the classroom and in the hallway.

When an officer tried to take him out of class, police say he became aggressive, pulled away from the officer and began to "yell and cuss."

He was suspended and arrested. According to an arrest report, he's charged with menacing, abuse of a teacher and disorderly conduct. All are misdemeanor charges.
