The Louisville Bats host their Opening Night Tonight (April 13th) at 7:05 p.m. at Louisville Slugger Field against the defending AAA National Champion Columbus Clippers. Keith Kaiser is at Slugger Field warming up for the game.
Fans will be able to enjoy $1 Bud and Bud Light drafts at the Budweiser Game Time Happy Hour on the Overlook Deck from 5:30 to 7 p.m. along with live music from the J.D. Shelburne Band.
The first 5,000 fans through the gates will receive a Bats magnetic schedule and fireworks will also be displayed following the conclusion of the game.
The Bats enter their 13th season at the downtown ballpark and have averaged 9,114 fans per game since its opening in 2000 and have totaled over 7.7 million fans through 12 years.
Last year, the Bats ranked second in all of Minor League Baseball in attendance at 8,716 fans per game.
