LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a disagreement turned violent when suspects beat a man, robbed him, and ran over him with a car.
It happened on April 14, shortly after 9 p.m. near the Green Light Lounge, near the intersection of S. 7th St. and Berry Blvd.
Police say a woman and two men, 20-year-old Damon Shanks and 35-year-old James Duby, both of Shepherdsville, Ky., arranged to meet with the victim and two others. Shortly after that meeting, the victim got into an argument with Shanks and Duby.
According to an arrest warrant, Shanks grabbed a metal pipe and hit the victim on the head, knocking him to the ground. Duby, along with the unnamed female, then got into a car and ran over the victim, "hitting him with the right bumper and running him over with the right rear tire, dragging the victim approximately 10 feet, trapping him under the vehicle," according to the arrest warrant.
At this point, the female suspect jumped out of the car and ran to the victim, taking his wallet.
The attack was caught on video, according to police.
Both Shanks and Duby were arrested Monday afternoon and charged with first degree assault and robbery.
