LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The man charged with murdering a Sullivan University student will receive a competency hearing.
Gregory O'Bryan is charged with killing Andrew Compton. Detectives say Compton met O'Bryan online and that the two were having sex when Compton died.
Police say O'Bryan told them he put the body in a dumpster, but the body was never found. Wednesday in court, the judge approved the defense's request for the competency hearing.
O'Bryan's trial has been scheduled for November.
