LOUISVILLE, KY.  (WDRB) --  Louisville metro police ask for help in finding a teenager missing since Monday.  Officers say she may require medical attention.

They issued an alert for 15-year-old Summer Allison McCoy on Wednesday afternoon.  A family friend said McCoy and another teen had been reported missing since Monday when "they ran away" from the Middletown area of eastern Jefferson County.

Family friends say they are focusing their search in the New Albany, Indiana area.

Police describe McCoy as 5 feet tall, weighing 125 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.

They believe she is in the company of another missing juvenile, Dylan Michael Hall, 15.  He's described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, 110 pounds with black, shoulder-length hair, thin build and a light complexion.

Metro police asked local media to publicize the situation, which is rare in most teen runaway cases.

Anyone with information on McCoy's or Hall's whereabouts is asked to call the metro police anonymous tip line at 502-574-LMPD.
