LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Engine maker Cummins is spending nearly $220 million to expand a southern Indiana facility and add nearly 300 jobs.
The company plans to build a new office building and warehouse in Seymour and add a new assembly line along with engineering and testing facilities.
Cummins officials say the expansion is needed to meet its growing high-horsepower engine business.
The Columbus, Indiana-based company now has about 525 workers at the Seymour engine plant and about 7800 employees around the state.
