The Bristol plates a Derby appetizer you may not have considered

As strong supporters of Kentucky Proud, The Bristol Bar and Grille will tell us about the best local ingredients to use for Derby parties and where to find them. The restaurant's T.J. Oakley will also show us how to prepare an easy beer cheese recipe.

Horseradish Beer Cheese

Ingredients:
1 lb.   Kenny's Farmhouse Aged White Cheddar Cheese
6 oz.   BBC Bourbon Barrel Stout (Flat)
1 tsp.   Hot 2 Trot Prepared Horseradish
1 tbsp.  Dijon Mustard
1 tsp.   chopped garlic
1/2 tsp.  Cayenne Pepper
 
Method:
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until a smooth, creamy consistency.  Serve on toast points, crackers, pretzels or raw vegetables.
