Officials say they are considering scrapping plan to stagger tolls, aim for full tolling in fall 2016.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- If you can't attend the Kentucky Derby for one reason or another, the Kentucky Oaks is your next best choice. And some would argue that in many ways, it's better.
That's because the Oaks has become the day Louisville residents take their turn at the track, a day before it's overrun from celebrities and high rollers from all over the country.
While this year's crowd didn't appear to be record-breaking, it was a bit on the gloomy side with overcast skies ready to erupt in a downpour at any moment.
They say a picture is worth a thousands words, so click on the slideshow above for a look at all the action on Oaks Day, from Millionaire's Row to Skye Terrace to the grandstand to media compound.
By the way, Believe You Can won the Oaks with a time of 1:49.50.
