LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One person was killed and another person was injured in a rollover crash early Sunday.
According to a news release from the Indiana State Police Post in Versailles, it happened around 3:30 a.m. That's when police say a 2003 Suzuki SUV driven by 19-year-old Tre' Colber of Madison was westbound on S.R. 256 just west of Grange Hall Road when for unknown reasons the vehicle left the road, struck a traffic sign and a utility pole before coming rest on its roof.
Colber was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the vehicle, 19-year-old Bailey Owens of Hanover, was taken to Kings Daughters Hospital in Madison with non life-threatening injuries.
Routine testing for alcohol and drugs was being conducted but is not suspected to be a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
