LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Voters in Indiana head to the polls Tuesday, and U.S. Senator Richard Lugar is making a final push to avoid ending his 36-year run in the Senate.
Lugar spent the weekend touring northern Indiana and rallying supporters. He faces state Treasurer Richard Mourdock in Tuesday's primary.
Various polls show Mourdock ahead of Lugar in recent polling. The winner will go up against Democratic Congressman Joe Donnelly in November.
