LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A missing Morehead State University student is alive, but there are still questions about exactly what happened to him.
Police say 20-year-old Daniel Hiser called his parents to tell them he is in New Mexico. He told his parents he is fine, but didn't give an explanation for his disappearance.
Hiser was reported missing Wednesday after his SUV hit a building. His father Mark Hiser explains, "He didn't go to finals. That's when we decided, the officer and I, that we needed to search."
Police say a couple picked up Hiser on Thursday in southern Indiana and took him to Little Rock, Arkansas.
