LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A 4-year-old boy was found wandering alone Tuesday night, and now his mother is facing charges.
Officers say a witness saw the 4-year-old walking through the neighborhood alone at 9th and West Chestnut Streets. Police say the child was seen beating on the door of his own home, trying to get inside, for more than 20 minutes.
Police say his mother, Yuri Bell, arrived a few minutes later and didn't know the boy had been missing for so long. She was charged with wanton endangerment.
