LA’s premier summer event series to feature the only three-story, outdoor HD movie screen west of the Mississippi announces local musical act line-up; Kicks-off on Saturday, May 26 in Santa Monica with ISLANDS
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 17, 2012
Fandango presents Eat|See|Hear (http://www.eatseehear.com), LA's premier outdoor movie, food truck and live music event series, today announced local musical acts scheduled to perform throughout its 2012 summer event series. Starting Memorial Day weekend thru September 15th, residents, visitors and families in the greater Los Angeles area will be able to visit their local parks and other community venues to watch America’s most beloved movies while dining on the most popular food truck fare and listening to up and coming bands from the local music scene. Passes for the events are available online http://eatseehear.inticketing.com/events.
Co-produced by the former audio/visual producer of last year’s Outdoor Cinema Food Fest, Eat|See|Hear features the only three-story high, 52-foot wide inflatable movie screen west of the Mississippi, offering an unrivaled outdoor movie experience with digital HD projection and state of the art line-array audio. Each movie will be projected onto a Harkness motion picture screen surface called AIRSCREEN, the original inflatable movie projection screen which provides a top quality, crisp, clear image resulting in an enjoyable experience for everyone. Prior to each movie, local up and coming bands will perform live and popular food trucks will provide great food to round out the fun.
“This summer, we’ve invited some of the most buzzed-about bands in LA’s local music scene to perform at each event,” said Jeff Sperber, Co-Producer at Eat|See|Hear. “We’re thrilled to have Islands for this special one-night-only appearance to kick things off. We've also partnered with Aquarium Drunkard, an eclectic audio blog based in LA with a weekly radio show on Sirius XMU, to curate our June 30th date with The Orwells. Fully encompassing the LA music scene with AD and their record label, Autumn Tone, they are releasing this Chicago-based band's latest record. Other great talent includes So Many Wizards, LA Font, Max & The Moon, Alex Mac, The Diamond Light and The Little Ones. It’s a great, affordable deal and a fun night. For just $10 you will have the opportunity to EAT awesome treats from food trucks, SEE a classic film on a giant movie screen and HEAR terrific local talent.” For the full schedule of performing artists, movies and food trucks visit http://www.eatseehear.com.
