· Change your eating habits: Boost your metabolism by eating every 2 ½ -3 hours from the time you get up in the morning until 8:00 pm. Focus on what to eat: Include lean meats such as turkey breast, grilled chicken breast, and grilled fish. Eat whole grains such as steel cut oats, brown rice, whole grain pasta, and whole grain bread. Eat all the fruits and vegetables you could possibly want.
· Drink more water: Dehydration is the #1 cause of fatigue and headaches. This is one of the reasons why many people have a hard time developing good exercise habits. Boost your energy level and metabolism by drinking at least 64 Oz. of water per day.
· Exercise: Choose a cardio routine that you can do 5-6 days per week. Walking, jogging, biking, swimming, dancing, sports, elliptical trainers and water aerobics are all examples of cardio. Do a minimum of 10 minutes per day the first week and keep adding 3-5 minutes every week until you reach 30-45 minutes per day 5-6 days per week.
