LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A lemonade stand helps a Louisville 7-year-old raise more than $1,000 for kids with cancer.

Allie Lesher presented Kosair Children's Hospital a $1,131 check this morning.

Allie kicked off her fundraiser at Christmas with a Web site, Facebook page and a goal to raise $1,000 for children with cancer.

She continued with Lemonade stands called the "Honey Jar".  The second grader said it was all to honor her grandmother who she called "Honey".

"Honey" died of lung cancer in 2008.

"There was this girl that had cancer and then she set up lemonade stand and that's how I got my idea is I wanted to set up a lemonade stand," Allie said.

Allie will continue raising money for kids with cancer.  To help click HERE.
