Family of murder victim still waiting for an arrest

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- One family is still hoping for answers - and an arrest - a year after their loved one was gunned down.

Antonio Spaulding's family gathered Saturday for a vigil.

He was fatally shot on May 29th last year.

Spaulding was involved in some sort of verbal altercation with a group of young men when one of the men started shooting.

Antonio was killed. His wife Nikki was shot in the leg outside the Parkway Place apartments.

Authorities said last year that they were looking for Dashad Eubanks but he has yet to be arrested.

"It would give us justice knowing that he's not out here taking somebody else's child from them. It hurts. I lost my brother and it hurts. It really hurts and I wouldn't want no one else to go through that again because of him," says Spalding's sister Angelique Williams.

Police still want to question Dashad Eubanks.

If you have information on his whereabouts, you are urged to call the anonymous police tipline at 574-LMPD.
