Louisville, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man who had just graduated from U of L last week died in a fatal motorcycle crash on Fern Valley Road.
The accident happened just after 6 a.m. near the intersection with Old Fern Valley Road. The coroner's office says 23-year-old Ryan Reeves of Louisville died of injuries sustained in the crash, including a severe head injury. Reeves was wearing a helmet.
A police spokesman says the motorcycle collided with a pickup truck. Witnesses tell police the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed.
Dense fog in the area may have contributed to a lack of visibility in the area where the accident happened. Reeves was driving home from working at UPS.
