LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A judge is making it hard for one Louisville man to get out of jail after allegedly leading police on a chase Memorial Day. In court on Wednesday, Byron Harper heard the judge say, "The court is going to deny the bail credit. The court's going to find that you're a danger to the community today. Thank you."
Harper remains at Metro Corrections on a $15,000 full cash bond.
Police say he was driving on Interstate 264 at Interstate 65. When officers tried to pull him over for not wearing a seat belt, they say he led them on a chase, running red lights before crashing into another car.
A passenger was partially thrown from Harper's car and seriously hurt. Three others also had to be taken to the hospital.
Police also found what appeared to be cocaine on Harper when he was arrested. He faces drug charges as well as many others, including fleeing police and reckless driving.
