Hidden under the railroad trestle off of East Broadway on Brent Street (right near Louisville Stoneware), The Café serves some of the best food in Louisville

Try their signature twice-baked French toast, or perhaps a custom-made three-egg omelet for breakfast, lunch or a business meeting.

Ample portions of fresh, home-cooked food with a southern accent served with love in an artistically eclectic-industrial setting. That's why The Café has gathered legions of loyal customers and friends since 1996.

Experienced restaurateurs Sal and Cindy Rubino delight in offering one of Louisville's most rewarding, affordable breakfast and lunchtime dining experiences. Sal can often be found "out front" greeting and serving guests, while Cindy has drawn on her decades of diverse cooking experience to develop the Café's unique menu of hearty breakfasts and mouth-watering pastries, satisfying sandwiches, elegant salads, hearty soups, and decadent desserts.

The Café's inviting setting is a big part of its appeal. Located in a creatively restored old warehouse on the eastern edge of downtown Louisville, we may not look like much from the outside, but don't let that fool you! Once inside, you will fall in love with this one-of-a-kind dining experience. So much so that you may want to share a wedding rehearsal, anniversary party or some other important evening event with us!

The Café's breakfast and lunch customers are an interesting mix of Highlands residents, people on the go, and business people.
