LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Drivers experienced some traffic headaches over the weekend.
I-71 north between downtown Louisville and the Watterson Expressway was completely shut down this weekend. The road was closed from 8:00 Friday night until around 7:00 Sunday evening.
The entrance and exit ramps on northbound I-71 at Zorn Avenue were also closed.
A portion of Interstate 64 was also closed this weekend.
From 8:00 Saturday night until 8:00 Sunday morning, eastbound I-64 in downtown Louisville was closed for bridge repairs. Crews put an asphalt overlay on the Witherspoon St. overpass.
