LOUISVILLE, KY (WDRB) -- Louisvillians are taking a trip around the globe without leaving their hometown.
From Bollywood dancing to hip hop music, Americana World Festival showcased talents from around the world.
People also got to taste different cultures -- from fried goodies to quesadillas.
Then, there were activities that are universally loved -- like a frisbee toss and bounce houses.
"This is an active thing to do because it gets you running and jumping all around," says Abdimajid Hussein.
"Different diversity coming together and enjoying time and just having fun" is what brings Nimo Aden to the festival.
This is the 22nd year the Americana Community Center has hosted the event.
It's a non-profit group that works with families from 89 different countries who now live in Louisville.
