LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The future for a one-time rising star on the UK basketball roster is now in the hands of a grand jury.
25-year-old Michael James Porter was arrested last month on charges of felony sodomy and having sex with a 14-year-old girl.
Court documents state Porter met the girl while serving as a group leader during a church function. Porter has pleaded not guilty. Monday his case was sent to a grand jury in Lexington.
Porter played at Kentucky from 2006-2009, but left in his junior year to spend more time with his wife and child.
