LEXINGTON, Kent. --- It seems scheduling has been all anybody can talk about since UK basketball won the national championship, and the Wildcats now know they will play 18 conference games , with the additions of Missouri and Texas A&M to the SEC.
That is two more SEC games on the schedule from previous years. Most notably, the Cats will play each conference opponent at least once.
U-K has also been made "permanent rivals" with Florida, meaning the Cats will play the Gators once in Lexington and once in Gainesville each of the next three seasons.
U-K will also play four other teams twice. Those schools will rotate from year-to-year. The remaining eight schools will be on UK's schedule once.
