LOUISVILLE, Kent. --- Expectations are again high for the defending national champion Trinity High School football team, with one of the first major preseason polls out.

MaxPreps.com has the Shamrocks at #12 to begin the 2012 season. If you think that's a little low, keep in mind the site was one of the few that didn't give the Shamrocks a number one ranking and a national championship last season.

Three key starters on offense are back, among others: quarterback Travis Wright, running back Dalyn Dawkins, and wide receiver James Quick.

Trinity scored a state record 49.7 points per game in 2011.
