LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The city of Louisville is being highlighted on national television. C-SPAN is in town this week to shoot several literary and historic sites.
Producers are focusing on several landmarks, from the Belle of Louisville to the Frazier Museum. They'll also interview historians, authors, and civic leaders.
Louisville is one of a handful of cities chosen for the project, as Debbie Lamb of C-SPAN explains: "The idea and concept came out about a year ago. So the idea was that we could get out of Washington, D.C. and provide a national audience with an inside look at these cities that normally wouldn't be featured on our network."
The programs will air August 4th and 5th on C-SPAN 2, Book TV, and C-SPAN 3 for American History TV.
