Group asks for help to find out who abused a puppy

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A group that helps abused animals is looking for information about the person who abused a puppy.

The Shamrock Arrow Fund says an 8-10 week old Pit Bull puppy named Chef was discovered outside Metro Animal Services' Manslick location Tuesday afternoon.  She was covered in a blue solution and her leg had been mauled.  She was septic and very weak.

Specialists have tried to save her, but they decided it was best for her to be euthanized.

Anyone with information about the person who abused the dog is asked to call 502-361-1318.

The Shamrock Arrow Fund also says you can help cover the expenses for her medical care by clicking on the Arrow Fund icon at shamrockpets.com.
