LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A section of a JCPS elementary school playground was burned to the ground Wednesday afternoon.

Twisted metal and melted plastic is all that's left of the jungle gym at Crums Lane Elementary.

Fire officials did not talk on the scene, but school leaders believe it started as a mulch fire and spread.

The school says they are looking into whether this fire was intentionally set.
