Charges dropped against woman found in home with 200 pot plants

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Prosecutors have dropped charges against a woman found in a home with roughly 200 marijuana plants.

It happened in mid-June on Verna Road, near the intersection of Cane Run Road and Ralph Avenue.

Police said they had a warrant to search the home.

Jessica A. Vannatta, age 26, of Fairdale, allegedly told officers that she stays at the house (Her home address is listed on McDonald Road in Fairdale). She was arrested and charged with cultivating marijuana.

On July 30, prosecutors say they dropped the charges. As of late Monday afternoon, the reason for the dismissal could not be confirmed.
