LOUISVILLE, KY (WDRB) -- LMPD officers say a 16-year-old boy was who while allegedly trying to break into a home.
It happened around 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon.
An investigation revealed the person who was shot was a 16-year-old black male who was with two other males. All three are believed to be juveniles.
Police say the three attempted to break into a home in the 1400 block of Fayette Drive. The owner fired shots at the suspects, striking the 16-year-old. He was taken to University Hospital. Police say his injuries are not life-threatening.
