LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Kentucky U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell says it may be time to start over on President Obama's healthcare law.
The top ranking Republican in the Senate calls the law the first step in Europeanizing America, and says Congress should start from scratch if the system is ruled invalid by the Supreme Court.
McConnell also says Republicans believe Americans want to repeal the whole thing.
He adds that Congress must find a way to slash the cost of entitlement programs like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, which he says are on an "unsustainable path" toward bankruptcy.
