LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a Louisville woman who didn't want to pay her cab fee pulled a stun gun and threatened the taxi driver.
It happened shortly after 7 a.m. Wednesday. According to an arrest report, police were called to a location on Outer Loop, near the interchange with the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Expressway, where they met with a cab driver.
The cab driver allegedly told officers that 31-year-old Rebecca A. Clark had taken a cab ride and accrued a $28.75 bill, but she didn't want to pay it. When the cab driver insisted that she pay up, she allegedly pulled a stun gun on him, "to scare him off."
But instead, police say she was the one who ran away. Officers say she ran to a nearby McDonalds and hid in the restroom. Police allegedly found the stun gun in the garbage can of that restroom.
Police say Clark eventually admitted to throwing the stun gun in the trash.
Officers also say they found Xanax -- along with some unidentified pills -- and marijuana on her person.
She's been charged with robbery, tampering with physical evidence, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
