LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A power steering problem is driving a federal investigation into the Ford Explorer. There have been 15 complaints from drivers of 2011 Explorers that the power steering can fail, forcing them to use more effort to steer the SUVs.
The problem could affect 83,000 Explorers, and could lead to a recall.
The government says it's looking into how often the problem occurs.
No crashes or injuries have been reported to the government.
