LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville woman won't be getting the "employee of the month" award anytime soon.

Paula Strong is accused of stealing $15,000 from her job.

Police say an audit found that the one-time bookkeeper from A.C. Tool and Company wrote checks to herself, instead of the vendors the company was supposed to be paying.

Strong allegedly used her work computer to alter the pay to accounts and hide the fact that she was stealing money. She's accused of cashing five checks.

Police say she admitted to taking the money. She is charged with theft by deception and unlawful access to a computer.
