LOUISVILLE, KY (WDRB) -- Hundreds of people got a taste of a lively community Sunday. People crammed into the Clifton Center for the Taste of Frankfort Avenue.

This is the 20th year for the annual event, making it extra special for those involved. Frankfort Avenue is filled to the brim with restaurants new and old.

This was a chance to get them all under one roof.

Several restaurants handed out items you'd find on their menus, while others whipped up something unique to this event.

"I think what's really impressive is that a lot of the restaurants on this corridor have been here for so long and they continue to evolve and change and create new special entrees and cuisine that people just love to come visit again and again," said Randy Blevins, chair, Taste of Frankfort Ave.

People also bid in a silent auction and enjoyed listening to live music.

All the money raised in the event goes back to the Clifton Center.
